First Session - 60 minutes
In the therapy world, we call this an “initial assessment.” This is a time for us to get to know each other and start to build our individual counseling relationship. Research shows that the counselor-client relationship is the number one factor to successful therapy. During this time I will gather information from you then we will work together on developing a personalized plan to reach your individual counseling goals to help improve your relationships.
Ongoing Sessions - 50 minutes
This is where you start to take steps to improve your relationships. We will have discussions in individual counseling to help you increase your understanding of what’s going on in your relationships, what’s not working and how to take steps towards positive change.
