Couples Therapy $175
First Session - 90 minutes
In the therapy world, we call this a “couples initial assessment.” This is a time for us to get to know each other and start to build our couples therapy relationship. I will get to know you both individually and as a couple. Research shows that the counselor-couple relationship is the number one factor to successful therapy. During this time I will gather information from you both then we will all work together on developing a personalized plan to reach your couples counseling and/or marriage counseling goals.
Ongoing Sessions - 75 minutes
This is where you and your partner start to take steps in couples therapy to help improve your relationship. We will have discussions to help you increase your understanding of what’s going on in your relationship, what’s not working and how to take steps towards positive change. In couples therapy, we will also work on improving your connection to one another.
